Shinning Light on a Beautiful Lake

Many of you that read my blog posts have seen a multiple assortment of pictures and explanations of how I look at the quality or beauty of the scenes. This time I am going to give you a background of a picture that I love and how I took that picture. Even though some of you may have seen many sunsets, but this particular one is very beautiful and there is a big close to the rays which I do not get often.   The scene that is depicted here is at a campsite in Smithfield, Maine. Once a year or maybe once every few years I go to this spot and watch the sun rise, set, and even see a snapping turtle come up to the surface of the water. Of course I would not go in this part of the lake because of them, but it is still a beautiful area to stop and be at peace. The rays of the sun matches the darkness of the coming night perfectly.
