Photography as an Art

I know that many of you are trying to cope with the changes in this crazy weather. One day it is beautiful out, and the next it is cold. But there are things out there that are having just a different kind of difficult time. The animals and the trees out there are doing what they always do this time of year, but some plants are still growing like it's time to blossom. That will change of course when it really starts to get colder. But the animals have a different plan in mind. I went out for a walk the other day because I wanted to have some fall pictures. It was fun and the weather was great. I have some pictures of not just the animals and the leaves, but the things that are around that deal with all the changes in the weather also. I was surprised at how close I came to the squirrel to take a picture. I found some animals around my house and my Uncle's. I thought they may interest you. When I was taking the pictures, I tried to be very careful not to move too fast because I know that they would fly-or jump-away from me. Many animals do that if you are too close and they feel like you are a threat to them. That is like many of the animals that live on this planet. Sometimes people are like this too, because they want to get to where they are going and do not want to engage in conversation. I guess we learned that from the animals, even if we don't realize it. Here are some pictures I hope you will enjoy... I t's a grasshopper!! It is so hard to get a picture of them, but I was happy when I got this close to one to take a picture. So strange!      I was surprised that the squirrel let me get so close to him. Even though I was on the other side of the fence.      This is not a post where I will tell you have the light hits the squirrel's eyes or how he was sitting on the gate. Hey everyone,      I know many of you are probably getting tired of me posting pictures of flowers, but there are cactus here too! Well they are like cacti and another kind of plant.      Have you ever went shopping for flowers in Lowes or another big store like that? Home depot maybe - anything besides Walmart? They have a big variety of flowers, and every time I go, I feel bad because they look like they need water. A new place to grow.      There were not many left, but my family and I did take some home. But what I have taken pictures of are very interesting.      No, I do not have a big place to put everything, but there are many cool ones to look at. The pink flower is blurry in this picture for a reason. It makes you look at the detail in the rest of the photograph.      I knew that I needed to post something soon, and this is one thing that I know a lot of people do not want to have in their homes, or near them really.      We can all find pictures of these bugs on the internet, but when you can take a photo of one of them, it is strange because of how fast they are.      Have you ever tried to take a picture of a fly? It isn't easy, but I tried it and it was a little strange for me when this one fly would not move when I started to slowly move closer to it. But with luck, I did capture a picture. Hey Everyone! So I know I haven't been doing a lot like I would want to on here, but I am trying, and I just can't get much when it comes to taking a good picture anymore. Many of the pics I have posted, I know is not really that great. Many artists, well most artists, are hard on themselves when it comes to their own work. Whether it be photography, painting, drawing, writing, etc. It also takes time because you want to have that perfect moment or that perfect sentence to just sit down and write or color, when you are ready. So I have an idea of what to do with my photography. I am going to see what pictures I can find, or take, and I want you all to let me know what you think about them. I've seen many bluejays where I go to work. It's the season for pretty birds! Taking pictures of birds is never easy, unless you know when to snap that photo when they come directly in front of you. But even if it comes out blurry, you can still say you have a picture, however not many will say that it looks like much. I'm a perfectionist myself when it comes to certain things, and photography, it's an art but it is also supposed to be fun. This is what I got from the bluejays I have seen: I love how I caught him when the bird was about to fly off and go into the trees. He is looking for somewhere to go. :) Many f these birds are curious and cautious when they see people or other animals. They never stay in one spot for to long. But in one area, yes if they are not being disturbed. Even though it is the bird's back, you can see the pattern on his tail and his wings. They are very pretty birds. I believe this is the one where he was looking at...

So my sister and my mom decided to make cupcakes recently. No idea why and I'm not complaining ;) It gave me an idea to create another blog post and I have been in the mood to take some pictures but didn't know what to photograph. It's hard when everything is the same and the weather hasn't been that great. But it's slowly getting better. Spring is here! Here are some pictures of the cupcakes that they have made... These are all the little cupcakes. Well the start of them. I love the ones with chocolate and vanilla icing swirl on top.  The way the icing comes to a point at the top, and with the dinosaur sprinkles, it looks like you want to have a bunch of little ones. The sun brings out the chocolate icing too.  I thought this would be different and yes there are just a few large cupcakes as well. It shows the ending of the lines in the 'X'.  You just have to have a heart in making deserts. That's what makes it taste so great.  ...

Evening everyone, I have been trying to figure out what to post on this blog but I kind of ran out of ideas. I know that everyone is tired of the same old sky, ocean, trees, flowers, etc. so I asked if anyone had an idea of what I can take a picture of. The one that I thought was a great idea was to take pictures of ornaments on a tree (or anywhere else) and see how they came out. It was an interesting concept and I enjoyed it. I took the pictures from different angles and chose a few that I thought were interesting to look at, to post on here. Let me know what you think of them... Everyone who knows of Disney and Winnie the Pooh will know who this is!
