Photography as an Art

Good evening everyone,      I know many of you will be tired of me posting pictures of flowers soon. I just wanted to get these three up before I go on my vacation next month and will be back with even more. 🙂      One is a flower with water still on it’s peta. Another is an interesting view of a cactus. 🌵 the last is of red flowers that from this angle look very pretty and shows more of its texture.         I hope you enjoy them and take some pictures of your own this summer. How is it going everyone?      So there are a lot of beautiful things to see in Maine. But what is fascinating is the plants that you are surrounded by. Many people walk right by, especially if they are in a rush to go somewhere or they are on vacation and want to go out and do things. Which is the point of a vacation, but there are things that grow right around you that are pretty neat to look at too.     Each picture I have in this post is of a different angle, and each one has their own colors. The sun of lack there of makes it all the more beautiful.     I hope you do enjoy them. These purple flowers is very pretty. Hey everyone!    I have some pictures for you. These are all landscape, but it is how you interpret the picture and the way you take the picture that gives you a different feel then any other landscape picture. I know many of you know doubt get tired of the same thing, but sometimes if you have not seen that something in a long time, you begin to see something that you have not seen in it before.    I like taking these pictures too. 😊 Each of these are part of a pond, but in this case a pond can stretch on for miles. The trees show you that you can be close by and the waves help give you more of the scene of where you are and that there is life here.    As the wind moves the water and the leaves, the picture shows you what you can be missing out on. Good morning everyone, The day that it pours and later on in the day it becomes windy-but a nice breeze kind of thing-is when the sky opens up and you can see something that you would normally see in the fall or on a windy summer day. I could not help myself to take a few pictures of what the sky looked like. It was very cool and even the birds were enjoying the end of a rain storm. It was just amazing. The clouds look like something that you can paint on a canvas. The wind makes them separate and move off to show you the open sky. Just like putting ripped up pieces on cotton balls on a blue sheet of paper.  This is the same, but you get more of a feel of how big the clouds really are. There is even a small black bird towards the bottom of the picture.  Of course I had to add the sun into the mix. The clouds bring out the brightness of the large star and you can see how puffy the clouds can be at the top. It is very pretty.  This was a day t...

Hey Everyone, So on one of the nice days that we have had, which is now gone, I decided to stop at a park that I pass by on my way home from work. It looks very cool and it is not huge like what you would expect. But it is a great size area to relax and even bring your dog over. I have some pictures of animals and what the place looks like. I hope you enjoy them. The squirrel seemed to not even notice that I was there.  I was surprised that the turtle didn't jump away when I got close to it.  I hope you all can find a place to relax and not worry about the world, just for a moment.  ^-^  - Jess* 

Hey everyone, There has been a time when I wanted to get a good picture of the sun near me, and I never have my camera on me. Then when I do find it, the moment is gone. But as long as you see it for that split second, at least you have a little piece of that memory with you. I love how the colors showed in these photographs.  If you look closely in the center of the picture, you can see two birds flying too. That I didn't realize until afterwards. But the colors are pretty awesome. 😊 If you look at the left side of the airplane in this picture, you can see the pink from the sun reflecting on it.  This sunset showing in the trees is cool in many ways. But what I like most about it is you can see all of the small branches on this tree and the colors are layered too.  I hope that you can appreciate the view, even if you don't have a camera to capture it. Hey everyone!      So, I've been trying to figure out what to post here and it's been hard because I don't want to keep giving you guys the same things. I went to a farm a little while ago and took some pictures. They aren't much, but the ones that are in this post I think you will appreciate more then pictures of rocks on the ground. 😋 I was kind of surprised  captured this picture without the cat jumping at me. The sun lets you see the colors on his fur and the shape of his body.  Now in this one you can see more of the details of his fur. It kind of looks like he is on a cat walk . Get it? 😉 Now this is one of the wheat fields at a farm I go to visit. Of course now that it's cold, you will not see much growing, but it is amazing how far and wide it really is. When this place is full, it looks like there is more here then what you can see.  Something different, but beautiful. Always use the sun to your advantage ...

I know that many of you are trying to cope with the changes in this crazy weather. One day it is beautiful out, and the next it is cold. But there are things out there that are having just a different kind of difficult time. The animals and the trees out there are doing what they always do this time of year, but some plants are still growing like it's time to blossom. That will change of course when it really starts to get colder. But the animals have a different plan in mind. I went out for a walk the other day because I wanted to have some fall pictures. It was fun and the weather was great. I have some pictures of not just the animals and the leaves, but the things that are around that deal with all the changes in the weather also. I was surprised at how close I came to the squirrel to take a picture. I found some animals around my house and my Uncle's. I thought they may interest you. When I was taking the pictures, I tried to be very careful not to move too fast because I know that they would fly-or jump-away from me. Many animals do that if you are too close and they feel like you are a threat to them. That is like many of the animals that live on this planet. Sometimes people are like this too, because they want to get to where they are going and do not want to engage in conversation. I guess we learned that from the animals, even if we don't realize it. Here are some pictures I hope you will enjoy... I t's a grasshopper!! It is so hard to get a picture of them, but I was happy when I got this close to one to take a picture. You can see the detail on it's body and where his mouth is. Even the eyes and feelers. It was very cool to see him.  This is a different view I caught of the grasshopper. So strange!      I was surprised that the squirrel let me get so close to him. Even though I was on the other side of the fence.      This is not a post where I will tell you have the light hits the squirrel's eyes or how he was sitting on the gate.
