Ocean's Waves

Image
I know I have not posted anything in a while. Busy with a lot but one thing that I never forget is my artwork. This is going to be one of those posts that I will let the pictures speak for themselves though. Enjoy! :) I love this one so much. This is what happens on a beautiful day by the beach. Being next to nature's shoreline.   It may not seem like much but the wave hit the water at the right moment. Wave after wave creating the foam on the sand which will wash right back out into the clear blue waters.   The ocean is a massive space. You never know what lies beneath it.   This looks like the wave is trying to come back to the sand but is being pulled back by a new wave crashing on the shore. It may be cliché but having footprints in the sand (from a human being to an animal) is fantastic. Especially when you capture the moment before the oceans waters wash away the evidence of who was there before.       ...

Un-noticed beauty

Image
I have not posted one in a while and I apologize for that to the ones who have been keeping up with my blog postings. Thank you very much! :) I know many people get tired of the flower pictures I put up. I am trying to bring some ideas to the table but it's hard when you work a full-time job, go to the gym five times a week, and try to make room for everything and everyone. But I am getting used to all the craziness. Anyways, these pictures come from a farm that a friend of mine owns. I went up there to go horse-back riding and it was so much fun! I have done it before but never by myself without someone else holding the reins. ;) Little Yellow flowers. They are so small and so unnoticed, unless there are many of them in one spot. I focused on the few that you can see the more details of. Everything else is blurred out in the background. It was also a very bright and sunny day, so I was surprised that the pictures came out very well. This is again with the focus being ...

Hiding in the Leaves

Image
If you look at the flowers that you may receive from someone or in the ground outside, you will only see the flowers that are blooming at the top. No one thinks to look in the grass or the leaves that are covering the other flowers that are trying to peak through to the light.   It is beautiful how some of the flowers are still able to bloom and live while they are being trapped by the green leaves.            The white flowers in this picture show that if you look beyond their petals, you can see the other flowers that are living with them. The colors are fantastic when you see the little bit of light that is capturing some of the petals of the various flowers.     The flower is in between the stems of the other flowers that have grown above him. This pink and white colored flower is spreading its petals and soaking up the sunlight that it can grab from the sky. It wants to live just like all of the other flowers that...

Black Birds Bath

Image
I know that when you think of birds, many people think of colorful ones or the typical bird that seems to hide in the pipes of everyone's house or on the roof. What I thought was interesting is what I saw when I looked out my window one day. Now mind you, this is still the winter season when it is cold, but the snow was starting to melt. That doesn't mean that the temperature has risen to a comfortable one. The black birds are very cool, and there beaks are yellow. :p The birds are actually taking a bath in the water that has come from the melting of the snow. It is time for a bath. It is very interesting to see how they each clean themselves off with the icy cold water and that they can fit there little feet in the deepest part of the puddle. You can see that the one on the bottom of the small pond is ruffling his feathers to clean off himself.   I could not get the best pictures, but in this one you can see the yellow beaks of the birds. The ones near the to...

Cold Pretty Sunset

Image
I do not like the cold, but I do love the sunsets. Looking at the sun is something you should not do, but people do it anyways. Sometimes you can't help it when you see all of the colors and where the sun is setting. It is very cool to see how the clouds would move to the side for you to see the sun. Other times they would be blocking the view of the sun, but it always manages to peak its way through the barrier. This is by far one of the best pictures I have taken of the sun from this angle. You can see all of the clouds around it and how the rays are touching the edges of the clouds. Yes, the wires are in the way but you can still see the colors of the sun and what it looks like setting at the end of a cold winters day. The colors in the sky are just perfect.   This is the beginning of the end of the sunset. This picture is very unique because you can see how the clouds are covering up the space that the sun has left its mark on. The colors are still pre...

Rose Red

Image
Many people like the flowers that bloom in the winter if there is a light dusting of snow on them. Other than that, no one likes the snow. They only like the way it makes the earth more beautiful. For kids and teenagers, it means a snow day and to go out and play in it. Of course everyone has done it at some point in their life. It is fun. As a photographer or as an artist, you start to see things differently as the seasons change. Something that you can see when it comes to any season is that you can create your own image of what you see the world as. In this photograph you see a rose that has fallen onto the snow. The reason I have chosen this picture is because you can see the different colors of the flower and how each petal has moved in the direction of how the wind has taken it. There is no sun that is being reflected off of the flower, but you can still see all of its colors from the stem to the inside of the flower.   I really like this picture the most...

Apples' Day

Image
Who doesn't love an apple?   Especially the ones that you pick right from the tree. Those are the best ones. With it's juicy food and taste of nature and fruit together. Anyways, the reason for this post is because I thought that it was cool with the way the sun hit the apples and how the leaves attached are what keeps them at their natural piece. It is very unique.          This picture set above is the three apples that I am going to picture in this post. The leaves that are still attached to the apples I have left there because they show that the apples were ready to be picked from the tree. If they are not, they will fall to the ground and become food for the animals that are around.     This apple is positioned in a spot where you can see all of its detail on the skin. The leaf looks like it is being picked up by the wind. In reality it is stiff and that is how they will stay when it was ripped from its tre...
