Rose Red

Many people like the flowers that bloom in the winter if there is a light dusting of snow on them.
Other than that, no one likes the snow. They only like the way it makes the earth more beautiful. For kids and teenagers, it means a snow day and to go out and play in it. Of course everyone has done it at some point in their life. It is fun.
As a photographer or as an artist, you start to see things differently as the seasons change.

Something that you can see when it comes to any season is that you can create your own image of what you see the world as.

In this photograph you see a rose that has fallen onto the snow. The reason I have chosen this picture is because you can see the different colors of the flower and how each petal has moved in the direction of how the wind has taken it. There is no sun that is being reflected off of the flower, but you can still see all of its colors from the stem to the inside of the flower.

I really like this picture the most out of all of these that I will show you. You can see the small ridges in the flower petals, the different shades of red and pink, and the shape of the flower. There is a faint light shining on the flower, but it is hardly noticeable. The way the picture was taken, you can see more of the beauty of the flower then the end of it.

This picture I have chosen to show you is because you can not only see the entire flower but how the snow hit the flower in the exact spots. The snowflakes help to capture the outline of the flower and it also shows depth to it as well. You can also see my puppy's footprints in the snow too.

These photographs are very unique in their own way. They each show how the flower can be depicted in the winter as well as where the snowflakes may land. The color really stands out as well. That is also one of the reasons I have chosen a red rose to photograph. They are all unique and each of them are special. Which one will stand out the most is what catches the person's eye.

Photography can be a hard concept, or it can be an easy one. It is all about how creative you can be.
