Keep Going...

Image
Hope everyone had a great summer! If you are still enjoying it, lucky you. I just went back to work today. I have some photos that I would like to share with you. I haven't posted anything in a while and I want to show some of what I have seen this summer. It's not much, but sometimes less is more. I have never been on a sailboat, but one day I will. They are so cool. You may not see it unless you really look, but there are a lot of birds flying near the boat. I just loved the way they are and the picture just makes the scene look that much more lively. It's not just a boat on the water, the birds are there for a reason. Whether for food or to just fly around. Waves are tricky to catch in a photograph. But when you do it is very pretty. The ocean is a powerful thing if you are not paying close attention. Even when relaxing, it is still a sight to see. I love this scene so much. The way the railing (some may saw it is in the way) is captured makes the wate...

How is everyone doin' these days? I am back and I have some interesting photos to share with you all. But first I am going to tell you about why I have taken these pictures and how you can take ones just like these as well. If you ever want to know how to take a great picture or what to do to get so close to animals, insects, or anything without scaring them off before you snap the picture, I am here to help. Just leave a comment at the end of any of my posts or e-mail me at :                                                                                       writ...

Shinning Light on a Beautiful Lake

Image
Many of you that read my blog posts have seen a multiple assortment of pictures and explanations of how I look at the quality or beauty of the scenes. This time I am going to give you a background of a picture that I love and how I took that picture. Even though some of you may have seen many sunsets, but this particular one is very beautiful and there is a big close to the rays which I do not get often.   The scene that is depicted here is at a campsite in Smithfield, Maine. Once a year or maybe once every few years I go to this spot and watch the sun rise, set, and even see a snapping turtle come up to the surface of the water. Of course I would not go in this part of the lake because of them, but it is still a beautiful area to stop and be at peace. The rays of the sun matches the darkness of the coming night perfectly. It paints the lake in a beautiful light shade and brings out the waves of the small breeze. The small bird in the picture on the left side of the sun sh...

Flowers and Trees! (your opinion...)

Image
Hello Everyone! I know that some of you may get tired of seeing flowers and different pictures of them, but I love how these came out. There is also a tree that is blooming by the cemetery that looked pretty awesome. Usually I would explain some things about the pictures or give my opinion of why I have posted specific ones up. But this time I will just show you what I have taken and let you decide for yourselves if you like it or love it. Or you don't like it at all. I have been saving certain photographs on my computer in a folder for myself. These pictures I will soon put into a photography book. Some people have a different view, of course, when it comes to photographs and how they may look like to one another. Everyone has an opinion. I think that we should share those opinions and maybe one day create something of our own and show others that there are different types of art out in the world. I want to know what you think..... Love this one! :D   Double...

Sunny Easter

Image
Hello Everyone! I know I have not posted a photography blog in a while... but I am now! ;) These are just some pictures that I have taken. The sun was very cool and of course it looked better in person then it did when I took the pictures, but still pretty awesome. I also have one of what I saw on Easter. ^-^ In this picture I liked the way the pink orb, which of course is from the lighting of the sun and the camera lens, gives you the depth of how far it is. You can also see the rays next to it on the left side of the orb in the picture. The clouds of course are pretty cool and with how heavy they are (it rained later on) was shown when the sun was near them. This is a slightly different picture. I know your probably thinking why I left the car in the picture, but it is for two reasons. One is because of the way the sun is hitting it you can see the shadow underneath the cool and the slight colors that showed when the light was shinning on the car is interesting. The seco...

At Dusk and Dawn... almost

Image
I know I need to start posting more. Maybe I should keep my camera on me at all times instead of my phone. It doesn't always take good pictures. But this one picture is really interesting. Some days you see an area that just screams "Take my picture!" or it's a "Kodak moment" kind of thing. Many of us have had that moment or were in this situation, but not all can capture the picture. I am one of many that have that memory that can see something and remember what it looks like....if I concentrate. :p But I'm not that amazing at drawing pictures. I have taken classes to help with that but no matter what, it is hard to get that image in your head to match the one that you have put on paper. This first one is in the early morning. One of those days that I had to go to work earlier then normal. Now many of us take pictures like this one. It is just the sun and another start to another day. But the color of the car's windshield and the light fr...
